Silent Seas: The All-Electric Transformation of S/Y Galaxie

S/Y Galaxie is a 23-meter aluminum ketch, originally built in 1979 and now thoughtfully reimagined as a fully electric vessel. In partnership with TrueWorld, we replaced the 800 kg diesel engine with a sleek 50 kg electric motor, powered by two battery banks containing sixteen LFP batteries. The result is a quiet, zero-emission sailing experience—an elegant showcase of sustainable maritime innovation.
